Privacy Policy
Last updated 26 July 2026
Skilled Hiring Pty Ltd, ABN 28 700 775 015, trading as Skilled Hiring ("we", "us"), is an Australian recruitment agency. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- From hiring clients: your name, company, mobile number, email address, the role you are hiring for and its location and rate.
- From candidates: your name, mobile number, email address, resume and work history, licences and qualifications, referee details, and your pay expectations.
- From this website: the details you enter in our forms (role, state, mobile number, email if provided) and basic usage information.
Why we collect it
- To provide recruitment services: matching candidates to roles, screening, shortlisting and placement.
- To contact you about roles, candidates, terms or your enquiry, including by phone, SMS and email.
- To verify licences, qualifications and references. We only contact your referees and only for that purpose.
Who we share it with
- Candidates: we do not release your name or details to a hiring client until terms are agreed with that client.
- Clients: your role brief is not shared beyond the candidates we approach for it.
- We do not sell personal information. We share it with service providers only where needed to run the business (for example, email and hosting providers), and where the law requires it.
Storage and security
Information is stored in access-controlled systems hosted by reputable providers. Some providers store data outside Australia; where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with Australian privacy law.
Marketing
We only send commercial electronic messages consistent with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Every marketing message identifies us and includes a working way to opt out. Ask to stop hearing from us at any time and we will.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact [email protected] or call 0485 853 926. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
